System Specifications
The setup includes a digital integrated circuit camera, which captures the image of the ball in the field, and a DSP, which will calculate the coordinates of the moving object say a cricket ball and generate control signal for the motion control system.

         A Professional camera used for the live telecast, which moves in accordance with the digital camera with the help of servo system.


.         A servo system that controls the horizontal and vertical motion of the Professional camera.


Software used for processing the picture taken by the camera. This software is used to calculate the position of ball in the field by using the information about the position of ball in the image taken, and thus finding the error angles for horizontal and vertical motion.


The arrangement of cameras shown in figure shows that with the use of four such cameras will be sufficient to cover the whole field. If the ball is out of view of any one camera than the other cameras can take the picture of the ball and transmit it. The use of more than one camera assure almost 100% tracking probability.
